DJ or Band?

DJs start at $1000 for 4 hour reception and average about $1400. Price increases from there depending on the package and add ons. A DJ can play an almost unlimited selection of music for your wedding and can easily control volume for your venue. All DJs can do music & amplification for the wedding ceremony, set up a separate sound system if needed for cocktail hour and of course full reception. Music can range from classical for ceremony to folk/jazz for cocktail hour to anything you want for the reception!  Read more about DJs here

Variety Bands for weddings start at $2500 and go up from there. Bands have a more specific song selection but give you that “live” energy for your wedding. They typically do not provide music or amplification for the ceremony or cocktail hour. Read more about Bands here

Live music for Ceremony or Cocktail hour?
