Professional Experience
Virginia has performed with such legendary entertainers as Sammy Davis, Jr., Jerry Lewis, Melissa Manchester, Kenny Rogers and even Bob Hope. Among the well-known resort hotels for which she has performed as a solo harpist are Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe and Reno, The Century Plaza and New Otani Hotels in Los Angeles. Performing in symphony orchestras, stage bands, ensembles and as a soloist, Virginia’s repertoire ranges from the Classics – to Broadway – to everyone’s popular favorites.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Harp Performance with honors at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri where she attended on a full music scholarship from the Samuel B. Mosher Foundation. She is the harp instructor at Randolph Macon Women’s College and Lynchburg College and also provides private harp lessons at home in Nelson County.

Virginia has performed with the Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra and as a soloist throughout the Central Virginia playing for weddings, private parties and charitable events.
