Peter Richardson
Peter Richardson began his formal study of the guitar at the Duke Ellington School in Washington D.C.
Since graduating in 1988, he has studied a wide variety of musical styles with many accomplished
musicians including: Joe Pass, Paul Bollenback, Marija Temo, and Charlie Byrd. His studies have taken
him all over the U.S. as well as to Brazil. Peter has performed with several jazz, latin, and rock ensembles
throughout the east coast. He has been a music instructor for over 20 years and currently resides in Charlottesville Virginia.
In 2000 he founded the Richardson Guitar Studio and the Alegria latin jazz combo and maintains a rigorous teaching and performance schedule on the east coast music scene.
