Mike Dunn & Janet Muse 

A violin / piano duo, Mike Dunn and Janet Muse are equally comfortable in the worlds of folk and classical music. Mike and Janet have performed together for the past several years, and each has extensive experience playing for weddings, dances, and other special events.

Mike is a classically trained violinist and violist, and performed for many years in the central Virginia area with the innovative chamber group, the Sugar Ridge Quartet. This included several appearances at First Night Virginia. He is also an experienced Scottish fiddle player, and has competed on a national level.

Janet began studying classical piano at the age of five. She has been a choir and solo accompanist, church organist, orchestra violinist, and accordionist for Morris teams. She has also played in contra dance bands over the past 25 years, including the nationally known group, Caledonia.
