Essence Band 

ESSENCE BAND is located in Richmond Virginia.   Essence has traveled up and down the east coast from New York to Miami, performing current and past blends of Rhythm and Blues, Top 40, Motown, Beach Music, Jazz, and Golden Oldies. Essence has also performed at Outdoor Concerts, Country Clubs as well as Coliseums. 

Essence will shy away from no challenge and is willing and equipped to perform before various audience types of all ages.   We specialize in playing for Weddings, Colleges, Fraternities, Sororities, Corporations, for Masonic organizations, Private parties and Public venues.

Essence Band has been the back up band for: ROY C, Chuck Roberson, The Lollipop Man; and has opened up shows for Betty Wright and Bobby Womack
