Max Katz began studying flute at the age of six and has been performing professionally for over 15 years. She earned a master’s degree in music from the University of Virginia and has performed all over the United States, Canada and Europe, including extensive dates in New York City and New Orleans. Ms. Katz has mastered a wide range of styles, from the most refined classical to sophisticated jazz and Latin improvisations and traditional Celtic music. She has performed with Bobby McFerrin, Celeste Ray and Charlottesville luminaries such as Rita Dove, John D’earth and Robert Jospe.
Through her background in the musical community, Ms. Katz has established an extensive network of highly talented and dependable professional musicians from which to arrange the perfect ensemble for your occasion.
